Geoffrey Uloth

A former professional snowboarder, Geoffrey Uloth is a graduate of Communication Studies at Concordia University in Montreal. After founding his independent production company, Evergon Arts, Geoff has spent the last eight years working within the Montreal film community, and has written, directed and produced four award-winning short films, as well as several TV spots.

Wildflowers, a fourteen minute short, earned four festival awards, including the C.S.C (Canadian Society of Cinematographers) award for best cinematography as well as the award for Best Dramatic Short at the Niagara Independent Film Festival.

His short, The Ecstasy Note, won a coveted spot in the Top 35 of the Fest at the Slamdance Film Festival Screenplay Competition, out of over 1800 screenplays, earning one of the highest scores for originality of the entire competition. The film screened at the Fantasia Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Vancouver International Film Festival and won Best Independent Comedy at the 2007 Niagara Independent Film Festival. His latest short, Among Friends, is currently in post-production, and he has three feature films in development. Geoff is a regular instructor at Trebas Institute in Montreal.
